Tungulending is a privately owned house with a friendly and charming atmosphere. The house offers various double- and triple bedrooms, bathroom facilities and living room. All bedrooms are prepared for you with made up beds, linen and towels. The common area as well as most of the rooms are with an extraordinary ocean view. The interior of the house is very carefully and individually designed.

Tungulending is located in a wonderful environment next to the North Atlantic Ocean. It offers you the experience to live in a remote place in the far North of Iceland. The natural surrounding and panoramic view will delight your senses.
Our aim is to make sure you will feel comfortable and have a pleasant time. We always do our best to make your stay at Tungulending most enjoyable and memorable.

Prices 2025

From May 2025, we, Thessa and Chris, as the new operators of Tungulending, would like to primarily offer accommodation to individual travelers. There are seven double- and two triple bedrooms and shared bathrooms, but no bookable breakfast. However, you are welcome to use the refrigerator, toaster and dishes in the morning. Small items such as juices and cereals are available for free.

1 night: 30.000 ISK
2-3 nights: 27.000 ISK
4-5 nights: 24.000 ISK
6+ nights: 21.000 ISK
